Thanks for posting your preliminary project brief, Jenna and Lauren. Your project is fairly far along, and we agree that this semester it would be productive for you to focus on building a plan and a timeline for development, and thinking on long-term funding. We do wonder about learning PHP — you might want to consider whether the flexibility you gain in being able to modify Collective Access yourselves can be sustained down the road (that is, will you always need to have someone who knows PHP involved in the project?). What can our class group offer your project that you won’t get elsewhere? What questions can we help you think through?
